Eyebrow Embroidery Aftercare: Do’s and Don’ts for Lasting Results

Practical aftercare tips to extend results and avoid fading or infection.

How you care for your brows in the days and weeks after eyebrow embroidery has a big impact on how well the colour and shape hold. Here’s what to keep in mind.

Do: keep the area dry for the first few days

Avoid getting the treated area wet during washing or showering for the first 3–5 days, as moisture too early can affect how the pigment settles.

Don’t: pick at any scabbing

Light flaking or scabbing is a normal part of healing. Picking at it can pull pigment out unevenly and lead to patchy results, so let it flake off naturally.

Do: apply the aftercare balm as instructed

A thin layer of the recommended aftercare balm keeps the area protected and supports even healing without oversaturating the skin.

Don’t: apply makeup directly on the brows

Wait until the area is fully healed, usually about a week to ten days, before applying any brow makeup or products directly over the treated area.

Do: avoid saunas, swimming pools and direct sun

Excessive sweating, chlorine, and sun exposure can all fade pigment prematurely or irritate healing skin. Give it at least a week or two before resuming these activities.

Expect some colour softening

The pigment often looks darker in the first few days before softening to its true, natural shade over the following two to three weeks. This is completely normal and not a sign anything has gone wrong.
